After thought

Why am i writing this, i had a strange feeling that Raju will die in custody. I have no investment in Satyam (ever had), never done any work for or with Satyam but was feeling really bad that a small town dreamer got nailed by ambition.

Lesson for a lot of dreamers, is not to get carried away and never play to galleries.

dream on

  1. Vinod, Your thoughts on the 'ambition' of Raju reminds me of my school days where my English teacher Muhammed Kunhi (we call him PG Kunji as he liked PG Woodhouse a lot) used to tell us, boys, you need to have an ambition in life but not greed.

An ambition is an eager or strong desire to achieve something. Without this you are nowhere.
Greed is excessive desire to acquire or possess more than one needs or deserves. This is a thorn.

Some of the common factors of ambition and greed are both has objectives and both needs a good amount of hard work.

The major difference is ‘ambition’ stops when it succeeds and check itself and moves forward.
Greed never stops and never looks back. It goes on and on and the objective never gets achieved.

I am not sure ‘Raju’ is of what type, but, its always good in our life that we check ourselves and moves forward.
